GREAT VIC BIKE RIDE TO VISIT THE BAY

Participants of the Great Victorian Bike Ride will stop at Apollo Bay next Wednesday and Thursday as part of a nine-day ride from Koroit to Buninyong.
Up to 3000 cyclists and volunteers will camp at the Bay and spend a rest day in town, in a boost for the town’s economy.
It has been three years since the last Great Vic Bike Ride and longer since the ride last visited parts of the route. The bike riders range from toddlers being towed in trailers to 85 years of age.
Expect road closures next Monday at Timboon-Nullawarre Road from 8.50am to 3.50pm, Wednesday November 30 at Skenes Creek Road from 7.45am to 2.15pm, and Friday December 2, along parts of the Great Ocean Road, from Skenes Creek to Anglesea from 7.45am to 2pm.
