APOLLO BAY NAMED IN BEST BEACHES IN AUSTRALIA

It comes as no surprise to us that once again Apollo Bay’s beach has secured a place in the top 10 around Australia!

Tourism Australia’s annual Best Australian Beaches list for 2023 has been revealed, and once again our very own Apollo Bay has been named, coming in at an impressive fourth spot and the only Victorian beach to score a top 10 place in the list, alongside coastal favourites; Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island, Boomerang Beach in New South Wales, and Queensland’s Rainbow Beach.

APOLLO BAY SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

This weekend The Apollo Bay Seafood Festival will take over the Apollo Bay Harbour once again for a celebration of the finest seafood the town has to offer.

Enjoy pop-up restaurants, cooking demonstrations and of course, seafood markets.

Lobster rolls, seafood dumplings, huge paellas, octopus skewers, southern rock lobster, abalone sashimi, Apollo Bay Bakeries’ famous Scallop Pies, calamari cones, bao buns organic oysters and much more will be on offer from a huge range of food vendors.

A hands-on educational program for kids will feature interactive demonstrations and displays, sailing lessons, casting competitions and harbour expeditions.

With some of Australia’s best musical acts over two stages, the festivities will wind up late into the evening.

Head on down to the local farmers market this Sunday where you can meet the maker or the producer of local foods or food products. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and shop for local products, Market to be held outside at the Apollo Bay Youth Club.
